The EVAC 200 is really a collection of 200 objects. This is about double the size of most of the EVAC observing programs. Thus, it is going to take awhile to complete. The project began in early Sept 2010, in Camas Valley, Oregon. Thirty-three (33) of the objects have been viewed and imaged in previously completed EVAC programs, leaving 167 items to find. As of Oct 23rd, 2011, 186 objects have now been observed, leaving 14 to go. The project is very challenging from several standpoints. Twenty-one (21) objects are smaller than 1 Arc Min in size, with several rated at .1 Arc Min overall. On the other extreme, There are Twenty-six objects over 19 Arc Min in size, the maximum size for the DSI3 camera and the LX200, without using focal reducers. Many objects will require the 80mm EDO, and one object, NGC 7000, which is the North American Nebula, is rated at 120 Arc Min in size, which is 4 times the diameter of a Full Moon. The list covers all Twenty-four (24) Right Ascension values, and objects are located in a total of Fifty (50) of the Eighty-eight (88) Official Constellations, recognized by the International Astronomical Union (IAU). The collection of objects can be broken down into the following categories:
